Yes, it's Dolly Parton! One of my childhood friends showed me a picture of Dolly in her fathers yearbook. He knew her and went to school with her! She's quite a character. Her interviews really get me laughing. I'll have to find some of her quotes for my Sunday post!
Was Mark with you when you met her? I thought he might have suggested that she cover "Stairway to Heaven."
I'd been borrowing Mark's photobucket for posting my pictures, but I set up my own account now so that he won't have to look at 10 pictures of Dolly every time he opens it up. Although, he may have liked that...I don't know. I met her at Dollywood on a special field trip with my middle school class.
I would have liked that. Although I think she is an interesting person, she looks kind of scary these days.
