"Because of Winn Dixie" is a movie that I've seen recently. I love the father and daughter relationship that is told through the eyes of a little girl named Opal. With the assistance of a funny and sweet stray dog named Winn Dixie, Opal and her father learn to talk through their pain of being abondoned by Opal's mother. The gain a better understanding of each other.

I've never seen To Kill a Mockingbird, because I don't generally watch a movie if I liked the book and it's one of my favorites. All parents should read it, because Atticus has a lot to teach us.
Linda used to watch the Waltons sometimes and I always had to leave the room. That show just sucked.
I just saw To Kill a Mockingbird the other day on HBO. What a great story and movie. It is one of the movies that should never be remade.
I still like to watch The Andy Griffith show from time to time. I only watch the Waltons now, because I remember watching it as a kid. The stories seem so much less complex than when I was a kid.

I love "The Andy Griffith Show", too. It was funny when I saw it as a kid, but now it's just hysterical. My parents used to watch "The Waltons" when I was very young. It seemed boring to me back then. I haven't tried to watch it to see how I feel about it now. Mark's parents have the first season, so I'll have to borrow it!
With "To Kill a Mockingbird", I saw the movie before I ever read the book. The movie is so very good, but it kind of influences how I imagine things in the book. I read it just a couple of years ago, but it's been a while since I saw the movie. I love both versions!
Did you guys watch "Little House on the Prairie"? I used to love it as a kid, but now I can barely stand to see those later episodes... the ones where Laura is a teacher.
